God is at work here in General Santos City and it is a privilege to partner with you in this endeavor. Last November 3-5, Wavemakers held the Movement Building Seminar. This seminar allowed every church pastor and leader to study the life of Christ, as He built a movement of multiplication of which you and I are a part of. We praise God for the 25 delegates from 8 churches who participated the said seminar! And as the day unfolded and we dove deeper into Jesus’ life, each delegate became more in love with Jesus and was challenged to walk as He did (1 John 2:6). |

he principles I’ve reflected and captured were life-long principles of Jesus’ way of doing His work here on earth. His strategy was more clarified, His values and priorities were more emphasized and His person was more magnified as a Lord who loves people as we went through the seminar. May I be covered with the dust of my Discipler.” (Remy Banzuelo, College Counselor & Instructor, Febias College of Bible) “This seminar makes us realize to go back to what we are supposed to do: make disciples who make disciples. What I really like about this is that the model used is no other than the life of Jesus. It’s so amazing to realize that He did things intentionally and timely to fulfill His plans.” (Kimpee Panganiban, Young Adult Leader, Capitol City Baptist Church) |

A sweet reunion. Asia Pacific Healthy Church Conference Manila served as a grand gathering of churches and individuals God allowed us to minister to in the past four years. Four years of our ministry flashed before our eyes in four days. Four eventful days that also gave a glimpse of the greater ministry God is giving us. We could not help but reminisce our humble beginnings. It was as if it was only yesterday when we launched the ministry of Wavemakers, in one of the obscure clubhouses in Quezon City. Back then, we were unsure what awaits us. But undoubtedly, the vision was clear. We were stepping out in faith to heed a daunting call to build disciplemaking movements in the Philippines. But never in our imaginations did we see God growing our ministry in unprecedented proportions. |

Last May 20-21, we
held a Balanced Programming Workshop
in Taguig City Baptist
Church. It was a year ago
when we conducted Movement Building
Seminar in their church. It was refreshing to see familiar faces. We were
thrilled to hear their milestones for the past year. Indeed, God is working
mightily in TCBC.
The BP workshop
allowed them as a church to honestly evaluate their ministries. Although they
were confronted with their imbalance, the church is seriously taking the next
steps to level up.
TCBC is a Southern
Baptist Church. We are praying that through our continued partnership and their
passion to follow in Jesus’ steps, TCBC will someday be a model ministry in its
denomination. We praise God for their dedicated servant-leaders, Bro. Ed
Austria, Ptr. Erwin Benosa & Ms. Gina Enriquez, seeing in them the humility
and the passion to know Jesus Christ deeper.
It is our prayer
that they, and the whole of TCBC, will be transformed in their growing love
relationship with the Lord, and that their love will just overflow to others as
they make disciples.

Maximum Exposure with CBAP
YouthSENTral
Wavemakers in partnership with CBAP
YouthSENTral conducted a conglomerate missions-awareness event called MaxEx 2011. It aimed to expand the youth’s
perspective of God’s global agenda. Participants came from Luzon, Visayas &
Mindanao.
Through
a missions course, exposure trip in General Santos City, and a Peace Camp, the
youth delegates emerged with changed hearts towards the reached and unreached
people groups. Loving them deeply with
the love of God through Jesus Christ. |
